4 Stages of Design

Anita considers every project to be unique, challenging and interesting. After meeting a new client and discussing the intended use of their landscape, she develops a design that is custom and distinctive to each site that fulfills her client’s desires.

Design Development

This is a time for informational gathering, getting to know one another and create conceptual plans for the landscape. This is a time for wishes and desires to be brought together in drawing form from which to evaluate for functionality, beauty, budget and completeness. These plans compliment the land, architecture and family to which it is designed for.

Construction Documents

A conceptual plan has been chosen and now it needs to be analyzed, detailed and specifications written to be ready for delivery to contractors for bidding purposes.

Construction Observation

There is no more crucial time than overseeing a project to completion. After sending out bid packages and assembling an installation team, the next step is directing the contractors to ensure the design is implemented with our vision and in a timely manner. All aspects from layout of driveway, walks, plants, rocks, etc. are watched over with great care.
